Moodubidire: Ms. Sapna, a faculty member of Alva’s College Bachelor of Social Work department has been awarded a Ph.D. degree by the Mangalore University, for her thesis “A study on problems of Women lecturers in degree colleges affiliated to Mangalore University’’. The research work was guided by Former Principal of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Dr. Jacinta D’Souza. She is working at Alva’s College, BSW department from the past 14 years. She is the daughter of former Moodubidire City Municipal Chief Officer M. Bhojaraj Poovani and Vathsala and spouse of Commercial Accountant Parshwanath Alva.
