Mangaluru: Department of Public Health Dentistry, A.J. Institute of Dental Sciences conducted an Awareness Programme on “Ill Effects of Tobacco” for the Pre-University Students of St Aloysius College, Mangalore on 23rd and 25th June 2015.

A video titled “Womb to Tomb” depicting the adverse effect of tobacco was projected for the students. A Role Play on “Ill effects of Tobacco” was performed. Health Talk on “Ill effects of Tobacco” was given to the students.

Dr Vijaya Hegde – Professor and Head, Dr Shubhan Alva –Reader, Dr Rajini George – Reader, Dr Pooja J Shetty – Assistant Professor, Dr Karan Giriyan –Lecturer, Postgraduates and Interns – Department of Public Health Dentistry, A.J. Institute of Dental Sciences were present.
