Mumbai: The new branch of Bharat Bank was inaugurated at Ami Jahraokha building, IC Colony in Borivali by National Billawa Mahamandal president and working president of the bank Jaya C Suvarna on Wednesday, August 17. This is the 98th branch of Bharat Bank.

World Bunts Union vice-president Ikala Harish Shetty was the chief guest. Borivli local committee Billawa Association Mumbai honorary secretary Mohan B Amin symbolically inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Assistant Working president Rohini J Salian inaugurated the ATM service, senior director Pushpalatha N Salian inaugurated the locker facility and administrative director C R Mulky inaugurated the computerised services.

Ikala Harish speaking on the occasion said, “Soon Bharat Bank will complete 100 branches and it will be a milestone. It has been working in a transparent manner and in a short span the bank has won the hearts of the customers. The customer’s trust, employees selfless service, management support and Jaya Suvarna’s able leadership is the reason behind the success and I wish them good luck in their future endeavors.”

Assistant police commissioner Sudhakar Poojary and Vishwanath Poojary too spoke on the occasion and congratulated the bank.

Bank directors Jyothi K Suvrana, K N Suvarna, U S Poojary, justice S B Amin and many other heads of the bank were present. Businessman C H Ravi, Mathew Jacob, K Padmanabhan, Ashok Nayar and Sadananda Poojary were also present on the occasion.
