Tulu cine lovers to welcome ‘Rambarooti’ on April 1

Mangaluru: Tulu film industry is growing like never before. New faces are hitting the screen almost everyday with one new movie, which is a promising and a positive sign.

Over the last few months, Tulu film industry has caught the attention at the state and the national-level. Adding to the series of Tulu cinemas is ‘Rambarooti’, a flick all set to see release on April 1.

The film crew revealed that though the plot was initially conceptualised for small screen, on insistence and with encouragement from the producers of the film, the team decided to bring out a movie. The hard work of transforming the small screen script to film took three months and the flick is ready to be out on April 1.

“I had started the pre-production work all alone. Then I realised that one by one, the team was building up,” recalls Director of the film Prajwal Kumar Attavar.

“Rambarooti has been a marvelous journey. We have worked on the project for two years. Since the team was small, each and every work was well-planned and strategised. This worked for our advantage. Now we are very hopeful that the film will do well,” said Co-director Vivek Gowda.
The film casts V J Vineeth, Shabareesh Kabbinale, Sandesh Shetty Sanu, Shruti Kotian, Chirashree Anchan, Nagaraj Attavar, Arpitha Adyar, Sanil Guru, Harish Shetty, Vivek Gowda, Santhosh Shenoy and others.

The camera work has been done by Prasad Kumar, Pratheek Shetty, music has been rendered by Loyd Valentine and background score has been rendered by Sunad.

The film has been produced by Prakash Kabettu and Srinivas Ujire under the banner of Opera Dream Movies.
