Udupi: Young actor Suchan Shetty, who gained attention with a small role in the movie “Kantara”, has embarked on a new adventure. Making his directorial debut, he is directing a movie titled “God Promise” with a comedy-family drama storyline.
The muhurta ceremony of the film was held at the Anegudde Sri Vinayaka Devasthanam in Kumbhashi, Kundapur taluk. The film “God Promise” is being produced by Maitri Manjunath under the banner of Maitri Production.
Coastal region talents Pramod Shetty, Raghu Pandeshwar, Kantara fame Deepak Rai, Karan Kundar, and other actors will be seen in the movie. Sundar Prasad Narnad will be handling the camera work for the family drama story, and Bharath Madhusudan will be composing the music.
Suchan Shetty, who appeared as a forest guard named Ravi along with the forest officer in the movie “Kantara”, is undoubtedly a new promising talent of the coastal region. Having worked with music director Ravi Basrur in the movie “KGF” and gained recognition with Kantara director and actor Rishab Shetty, Suchan Shetty will be seen on-screen this time through the new movie “God Promise”. For the first time, Suchan Shetty will be seen on-screen as a lead actor and director.
Suchan Shetty, who appeared in the cinema world with music director Ravi Basrur, is also known as a social media promoter. Interested in acting as well as directing, Suchan has also worked in the direction department of films like Katak, Bilindar.
