Kochi: Cricketer Sreesanth, who was slapped with spot fixing charges by the Delhi Police and jailed, has bounced right back.
Ya heard it right , he is now going to star in a a bilingual movie to be directed by P. Balachandra Kumar. While it seemed that his future was bleak,here is this big news.
Confirming the news the director says, “Prakash Raj and Prabhu Deva have also agreed to be a part of the movie. It will be filmed in England, Dubai, Chennai and Kochi. The movie will be in Malayalam and Tamil and we have plans of making a Hindi version too.”
Refusing to reveal anything about the story, Balachandra says that he is confident that the spot fixing controversy will not affect the movie. “Sreesanth is one of the most famous people from Kerala,” he says, pointing out that people admire Sanjay Dutt even though he is in prison.
A family member of the cricketer said, “Discussions are still on with the director. Since his passport and other documents are in court, he can not shoot abroad.”
