Sonu Sood comes forward to help ailing actor Anupam Shyam

New Delhi: Sonu Sood, who has been helping people during the coronavirus crisis has now reached out to actor Anupam Shyam, who is currently in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) of a Mumbai hospital for dialysis.

Shyam’s family had sought financial help from the film fraternity for his treatment.

Anupam Shyam, who is best-known for playing the role of Thakur Sajjan Singh in the show Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya, has been undergoing dialysis at Mumbai’s Lifeline Hospital.

Cine And TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) then appealed to people to provide financial aid for his treatment, and soon Sonu Sood came forward and tweeted that he is in touch with Anupam’s family.

Anupam Shyam has worked in TV serials like Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya, Kyunki…Jeena Issi Ka Naam Hai, Amaravathi Ki Kathaye, Hum Ne Li Hai Shapath and Doli Armaano Ki. He has also starred in films such as Parzania, Bandit Queen, Lagaan, Dil Se, Nayak: The Real Hero and in the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire.
