Mumbai: Actor Rohit Bose Roy, known for lending his voice to Peter Quill in all three Hindi versions of the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy series, expressed his delight in voicing Chris Pratt’s character. Rohit noted that he found enjoyment in voicing Peter Quill because the character resonates with his own real-life personality.

According to Rohit, “Voicing Chris Pratt’s portrayal of Peter Quill or Star-Lord was an enjoyable experience because his character aligns with my real-life traits – fun, engaging, and a bit cocky. I recall when I first dubbed for Peter Quill, the excitement about my voice matching Chris Pratt’s appearance led to me being associated as his unofficial voice throughout India.”

He recounted that one of the toughest challenges was singing a Hindi song in the Peter Quill style over an English song. Reflecting on the franchise’s third movie, he mentioned it was particularly enjoyable, surpassing the previous films in scale and quality.

Receiving positive feedback from viewers, who found the dubbed version seamless, was a rewarding experience for him. He expressed that such responses are his motivation, as he engages in the industry for enjoyment and to create memorable experiences for audiences.

The film also features Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova, with James Gunn serving as both the director and screenplay writer. Kevin Feige produces the film, while Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Sara Smith, and Simon Hatt are executive producers.

Marvel Studios ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ joins its predecessors, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’, on the Disney+ Hotstar platform. Directed and written by James Gunn, this concluding instalment follows the Guardians as they embark on their final cosmic journey. Settling in Knowhere, they face the reemergence of Rocket Raccoon’s tumultuous past.
