Model-actress Poonam Pandey has made a surprising revelation, contradicting her manager’s earlier announcement of her demise from cervical cancer. Taking to Instagram, she shared videos expressing her apology to fans and followers for the distress caused.
“I want to clarify that I am alive and haven’t succumbed to cervical cancer. However, sadly, many women have lost their lives due to this disease,” she stated in one of her Instagram posts.

Expressing regret for the confusion and distress caused, she emphasized her original intention behind the hoax. “My aim was to shock everyone into a conversation we’re not having enough – cervical cancer awareness,” she reiterated in another post.
Following the initial false reports, several celebrities, including Kangana Ranaut, Munawar Faruqui, Daisy Shah, and Pooja Bhatt, mourned her supposed demise. Kangana Ranaut, who previously hosted a reality show featuring Poonam, had shared condolences on Instagram, expressing deep sadness at the news.
