Mangaluru: A case of mistaken identity is not an unheard of phenomenon. There are a lot of people, totally not related by blood, who look similar. While some have gone to prison as a result of the confusion, some – like Hollywood actor and stand up comedian Pakistani-American Kumail Nanjiani – get praised for something to which they weren’t even remotely connected.

Yes! After the release of “Tiger Zinda Hai”, Salman Khan’s recent blockbuster, Kumail Nanjiani has been receiving praise for his role in the movie. Now you might be thinking, “Well that’s nice… Nanjiani really did do a great job!” If you just thought that, you are among those who mistook actor Anant Vidhaat for the actor/comedian.

Nanjiani, was of course, pretty confused by all the praises he was receiving for something he was very sure he hadn’t done. In response to this, he tweeted: “Bunch of people have been congratulating me on the success of Bollywood film Tiger Zinda Hai. I was confused. Then I saw this picture. This is not me. I don’t think. 90% sure. 85.”
