Chennai: Kollywood actor Ajit Kumar, who is fondly referred to as “Thala” by his fans and followers, was injured while performing a bike stunt for his upcoming movie “Valimai”. Reports suggest that the actor’s motorbike skid during the performance, due to which he had suffered bruises on his arms and legs.

A few days ago, a local daily had carried news stating that Ajit, while riding a superbike for an important scene of his upcoming movie, had a fall and had suffered minor injuries.

As the news went viral on social media, Ajit’s fans took no time to wish him a speedy recovery on Twitter.

Soon the #GetWellSoonTHALA started trending on Twitter, where over 65,000 tweets were made in a matter of a few hours.

The reports claimed that after the accident, Ajit took only a twenty-minute break in accordance with the doctors’ recommendations, and got back to the shoot.
