Bengaluru: Varthur Santhosh, a participant in Bigg Boss, faces serious accusations from his father-in-law, who alleges sexual assault on his daughter and claims of drug addiction.
Varthur Santhosh kept his marriage a secret during his time on Bigg Boss. However, recent revelations indicate that he is indeed married and has a daughter, with his wedding pictures circulating on social media.
In an interview with the media, Somnath, the father of Varthur Santhosh’s wife, Jayashree, expressed, “Varthur Santhosh is a deceitful individual, involved in substance abuse, and has harmed my daughter. He is addicted to drugs.” Somnath further stated, “I arranged my daughter’s marriage, but he assaulted her, and shortly after the wedding, his family suggested to divorce.
He was hospitalized at Spandana Hospital, and fearing he might not survive, I took care of him. After two to three months of recovery, I sent him home. Despite providing him with everything, he misbehaves at his in-laws’ place. Every evening, he comes home, consumes alcohol, and abuses my daughter. On one occasion when I visited, he threatened me with a knife, attempting to slit my throat in front of a crowd of 30-40 people. Despite his stature and intelligence, he refused to heed anyone’s advice.
