Mumbai: Deepika Padukone, we all know, loves planting kisses on the cheeks of her colleagues and friends as has been proved in several photographs of the actress. The latest recipient of Deepika’s affection was none other than Anushka Sharma. Yes, Deepika was seen kissing and showering her affection on Anushka when the two met at censor board’s meeting between the Information and Broadcast minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and members of the film industry March 16 in Mumbai.

At first when the two actresses crossed each other’s path, they met warmly and hugged. Deepika, we hear, congratulated Anushka for “NH10,” and the two posed together for pictures. Deepika then planted a kiss on Anushka’s cheek, and Anushka was left beaming. Cute, no?

While nobody gave these two a chance at friendship, considering that Deepika’s current boyfriend Ranveer Singh was linked with Anushka in the past, it is quite heartening to see the two Bollywood beauties bond.

While Karan Johar had scoffed at Deepika when she said she thought Anushka was her friend, Anushka had recently supported Deepika for speaking out about her issues with depression. 

Incidentally, Johar was present at the meeting where these two ladies bonded.

“When Deepika spoke about her depression, people wrote so many things about her. She was doing it for a larger cause. Catherine Zeta Jones is dealing with bipolar disorder. Do people write such things about her,” Anushka had said recently.

Well, great to see these two literally kiss and make up, right?
