New Delhi: Renowned Actor Amitabh Bachchan made a significant visit to Ayodhya, marking his presence at the newly-constructed Ram temple, following his participation in the auspicious consecration ceremony alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This pilgrimage held particular significance for the 81-year-old icon, who also serves as the brand ambassador for Kalyan Jewellers, coinciding with the inauguration of a new showroom for the esteemed jewellery brand in the temple town.
Previously, Mr. Bachchan had graced Ayodhya’s sacred grounds for the ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Mandir on January 22, accompanied by his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan. Moreover, reports have surfaced regarding Mr. Bachchan’s investment in a plot within a prestigious enclave in Ayodhya, situated conveniently close to the Ram temple. While details regarding the size and value of this acquisition remain undisclosed by the Mumbai-based developer, The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL), the purchase underscores Mr. Bachchan’s enduring connection to the sacred city.
