New Delhi: On the eve of the festival of colors, members of the Bachchan and Nanda families gathered to commemorate Holika Dahan. In a series of images posted by Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda and her uncle Abhishek, the Bachchan household, including Aishwarya Rai, is seen partaking in the festivities in the backyard of their Mumbai residence. Among the snapshots is one of Navya by the bonfire, while Aishwarya Rai keeps a watchful eye on the flames. Another picture captures Navya playfully applying colors to Abhishek Bachchan’s face. Navya captioned the collection as “Holika Dahan.”

In a previous interview with Hindustan Times, Navya Naveli Nanda addressed her choice not to pursue acting despite her family’s ties to the film industry. She explained, “Well, I also come from a business family too. So, I was very clear that (I don’t want to join acting and do this). At the end of college, I realised that this is what I wanted to do.”
Navya Naveli Nanda recently featured in the second season of her podcast What The Hell Navya alongside her grandmother, veteran actress Jaya Bachchan, and mother Shweta Bachchan.
