Mumbai: Actor Navtej Hundal who had grabbed the attention of the audience by playing the role of the current union home minister in the movie “Uri: The Surgical Strike”, breathed his last, here on Monday, April 8.

The reason for his death is not yet confirmed.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters. Actress Avantika Hundaal who plays the role of Mihika in a popular daily soap ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, produced by Ekta Kapoor, is one of his daughters.

His last rites and cremation were performed at Oshiwara Crematorium, located at Jogeshwari, today morning, i.e., on Tuesday, April 9 at 11 AM.

Meanwhile, the Cine and TV Artiste’s Association (CINTAA) has expressed its condolence on his death.
