Mangaluru: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India-Mangaluru Chapter conducted a one day workshop for their Members and Students at Ajanta Business Centre, Bejai Kapikad, Mangalore on April 22 on the theme “Learnings from G20: Journey towards sustainable, competitive and holistic capital markets” on account of Celebrating Capital Market Awareness Week-2023
Shri V Leeladhar, Ex-Deputy RBI Governor inaugurated the program and with the inaugural address.
It was followed by talk Regulation 30 of SEBI ( LODR) by CS Mandar Godbole, AVP Legal & Compliance, Manipal Technologies Limited.
The Second Session was based on the Regulatory Framework of RPTs by CS Anoop Deshpande, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer, Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Limited, Mumbai. A Representative from Central Depositories & Securities Limited (CDSL) also briefed the members on the Overview of the Depository Market
Earlier Chairperson CS Sonali Suresh Mallya welcomed participants; Secretary CS Dhanraj K Saliyan proposed the vote of thanks
About 30 members and a few students actively participated in the workshop.
Vice Chairman CS Rakesh Nayak along with CS Apeksha Prabhu Treasurer, CS Siddesh V Bhaktha, CS Narasimha Pai and CS Ulhas S Bhat members management committee coordinated the session along with Chapter-in-Charge Shankar.
