Luxury fashion brands are known for their innovative concepts, often accompanied by exorbitant price tags. Recent viral sensations include items like the Dolce & Gabbana “Khaki Ski Mask Cap” priced at ₹32,000 and Hugo Boss flip-flops going for ₹9,000. Now, a British-Italian label has introduced a new item into this realm of extravagance.
Jordanluca, the brainchild of designers Luca Marchetto and Jordan Bowen, has unveiled a peculiar pair of denims known as the “Stain Stonewash Jeans.” These jeans made their debut on the runway during the fall/winter 2023 collection showcase. Notably, the jeans sport a dark stain in the groin area, resembling a urine mark. Originally priced at approximately ₹67,600, the jeans have gained notoriety, particularly with the lighter wash variant now fetching a staggering $608 (approximately ₹50,000) and currently sold out.

Describing their creation, the brand stated, “The Stain jeans feature a stonewash stain on the crotch and the Demonology horn detail embroidered on each back pocket, making them the ultimate JORDANLUCA denim piece. The jeans are high rise with a tapered leg, ensuring a perfect fit.”
However, these unusual denims have attracted criticism online, earning them the moniker “pee stain denim.” Social media users have expressed bewilderment and disdain towards the concept.
“It’s 2024, so why should anybody be surprised that ‘pee stain denim’ is a thing?” remarked one user.
“These are pricey. Couldn’t people just DIY by wetting their pants?” questioned another.
“Why would anyone wear this?” echoed a sentiment from another user.
“You ain’t cool unless you pee your pants,” quipped a third.
And another user humorously reminisced, “I had tons of these in first grade. Who knew they’d be worth money one day.”
