Hyderabad: The Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal witnessed a chaotic situation after Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s fans were not allowed to enter the stadium during a match between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday evening, according to sources.
The ardent supporters of Mahi, or as they call him “Thala” Dhoni, reportedly argued with the security personnel and tried to enter the stadium by breaking the barricades at gate number 4. The situation escalated within minutes into a scuffle between the fans and the police authorities, leading to chaos outside the stadium.
