Compact sedans car market is mushrooming in India after the recent success of Honda Amaze and Maruti Dzire in the Indian market. Several auto-makers tried to ride in the success wave of compact sedan trend but only a few stood up with the buyer’s expectations.
Now, Hyundai’s Xcent is close on the heels after Amaze and Dzire. Xcent…yes it recalls Hyundai’s Accent but Xcent is unlike to its old version rather falls into a sub-four-meter sedan car variant.
Hyundai’s Xcent is going to release in city today. The showroom has received 20 pre-bookings so far at Advaith Motors showroom in Mangalore.
Xcent comes with two variants petrol and diesel with 1.2 litre Kappa engine. Petrol variant gives mileage of 19.1 kmpl and 24.4 kmpl mileage for diesel.
Xcent comes with three models S, S(O) and SX.
Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is optional with S and SX. Also, this car provides all the high-end features in its higher model, to cater buyer’s need.
The car provides electro chromic mirror, rear parking sensors, rear camera with ECM display, keyless entry, two airbags at driver and passenger seat.
Alloy wheels with 14”clean silver and 15”diamond cut, which is optional. Apart of this, it has radio/CD/MP3 player, front(2) and rear (2) speakers, aux-in and USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, 1GB internal memory, audio/Bluetooth steering wheel control all these features will be available in its S and SX model.
Talking about its interiors then it gives two shades beige and black colours, adjustable rear seat headrests, rear seat center armrest with cup holder. Also, fully automated temperature control (FATC), chrome outside door handles, leather wrapped- steering wheel and gear knob with chrome coating in its high-end variant.
Petrol comes with 1197 CC, 83ps/6000rpm power, 11.6kgm/4000rpm Torque, 407lts, Boot space, 2425mm wheelbase, 165mm ground clearance.
Diesel: CC 1120, Power 72ps/4000rpm, Torque 18.4kgm/1750-2500prm, Boot Space 407lts, Wheelbase 2425mm, ground clearance 165mm.
