Naresh Shenoy bail plea: HC to pronounce verdict on June 9

Bengaluru: The High Court of Karnataka, which is hearing the bail petition of Naresh Shenoy, is all set to pronounce the orders on Thursday, June 9. Shenoy is prime accused in RTI activist Vinayak Baliga murder case.

While Shenoy’s advocate Shyam Sundar presented argument defending his client, public prosecutor Nawaz said that Baliga was killed because he was trying to unearth irregularities in functioning of the local Sri Venkatramana Temple, where Shenoy had control over the affairs.

On behalf of Baliga’s father, Ramachandra Baliga, advocate, Raveendranath Kamath placed his arguments seeking to rejection of bail petition. Ramachandra Baliga also filed an affidavit to the effect that his son was got murdered by Naresh Shenoy.

After hearing both the sides, the high court posted the case to June 9 for final verdict in the case.
