Puttur: A 24-year old Bengaluru-based techie, who allegedly abducted a married woman few months ago, has also been abducted here in Puttur, while he was on his way to the court on Monday December 1.

The techie has been identified as Denson David, who hails from Bengaluru.

On the same day, Denson’s father Joseph filed a complaint stating that his son was first assaulted by Giridhar Bhat, Nityananda Vaidya and two others, who arrived in two vehicles.  He further alleged that the group has abducted his son.

Earlier, a case was filed against Denson, who reportedly abducted Keerthika, daughter of Nityananda Vaidya. She was married to Giridhar Bhat.

It’s learnt that Keerthika was working in a private firm in Bengaluru. Denson too worked for a same company where both developed intimacy. When her husband learnt about the affair, he made her quit the job and made her stay with him in Puttur.

Despite that, both of them continued to be in touch with each other, without the knowledge of her husband.

On September 13, Giridhar Bhat registered a compliant stating that his wife was abducted by two persons. The complaint accused Denson and one Santosh Kumar.

Keerthika is still at large. Based on the complaint, the police had arrested Santosh Kumar and produced him in court, however later he acquired a bail.
