Hassan: In the recent past, the number of cases of crime in the City has been increasing day by day without curbing illegal activities and the traders and the general public have been shaken by the night robbery, which has left the businessmen and the general public in a tizzy and are blaming the functioning of the police.
The CCTV footage showed them breaking open the locks of the shops at around 2.40 am to VSS Medical, Sri Krishna Store, Apollo Pharmacy and Nanjundeshwara Store on B. H. Road in the City.
Officials reached the spot and conducted an investigation when the police station was informed that the lock of the shops was broken when the owners came to open the shop in the morning as usual.
A medical store owner said that thousands of vehicles are plying on the national highway and there is always movement of people but the theft of four shops in a single night is very alarming.
