Udupi: A fire broke out at KCDC Cashew Plantation in Hosadu near Don Bosco School compound in Hosadu Villageafter an electric short circuit led to a fire that broke out.
The students of Don Bosco School took action on time and doused the fire and the Principal of the School cooperated with the children. The attitude of the students has been appreciated by the public as they displayed social concern.
Incidents of fire have been occurring in Hosadu and Trasi areas during the summer season. It has been the demand of the public to take steps to deploy fire brigade vehicles during the summer season in Gangolli Police Station limits.
