Byndoor: Sandalwood star Rishab Shetty cast his vote at a polling station established in a government school in Kerady, within the Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituency’s Byndoor Assembly constituency on Tuesday.

The actor, renowned for his role in ‘Kantara’, told reporters after exercising his democratic right that he voted for the nation. He mentioned there would be less rush at the polling station in the evening, hence he chose to vote later in the day.

Rishab declined to speak on political issues, stating it was his duty to cast his vote, and he had done so. “I am happy that I got the opportunity to exercise my democratic right at the school where I studied. And I am proud that I was able to contribute to the development of my school, which I adopted. Many projects are pending due to the election-related code of conduct. All the remaining work will be finished at the earliest,” he said.
