In this day and age, when students can request reevaluations even with 99% grades, the friends of a lad who narrowly passed with 300 out of 625 marks honored him with a banner in the city.
When Haslin, a Pacchanady local, showed up for the SSLC exam, his pals weren’t sure if he would pass. But when the results were revealed, Haslin was only barely able to make it through.
In honor of his achievement, his friends put up a big banner with funny congratulations on Mangalanagara Road in Pachanady. Online users commented that the joy of a recently graduated student should serve as a lesson to those who become upset about slightly below-average grades.
“With the blessings of our parents, the scolding and encouragement from villagers, the miracles of tuition, the trials of school, the guidance of teachers, the lure of a bicycle and snacks, and the determination to succeed, our very own Bruce Lee has passed the SSLC examination,” reads the humorous banner that Haslin’s friends put up. We are all ecstatic. Congratulations, Haslin, on earning a perfect 300 on the SSLC exam.”
The Yuva Friends Mangalanagar group and well-wishers coordinated the banner’s creation. A sizable picture of Haslin—fondly known as Bruce Lee—is also included.
