Moodbidri: Lawrence D’Souza (36) from Alangar who was the  Senior Video Editor with TV 9 channel  passed away in Bangalore on  Monday July 21 morning following a cardiac arrest.

D’Souza who was initially employed in the  Editing section of Adla channel in Moodbidri, was working for TV9 since the past seven years.

Known for his service mindedness, Lawrence was also the President of the Alangar ICYM unit and was a good singer in the Church prayer group. He was married just one and a half years ago.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, parents and two sisters. His mortal remains will be brought to hometown on July 22, Tuesday for the last rites.

Ashraf Valpady, President of Moodbidri Working Journalists’ Association has condoled the demise of Lawrence.
