Kasaragodu: The gold worth of Rs. 81 Lakh recovered from two persons from District, who landed at Kannur Airport. The Airport Authorities have seized the valuables.
In all 1157 grams of gold worth about Rs. 65.5 Lakh was recovered from Abdul Latheef, a resident of Surlu in Kasargodu who came from Sharjah.
He has hid it in his socks.
A total of 294 grams of gold worth Rs. 16 Lakh was seized from one Salman Faris of Chattanchal. He had hidden it inside a non-stick cooker.
