Karwar: Padma Shri awardee Sukri Bommu Gowda cast her vote at polling booth number 182 of Bhavikeri Village in Ankola Taluk.
Sukrajji is 82 years old. Even though she was allowed to vote at home, she was called to the Badageri Polling Station in Bhavikeri Village on a wheeled vehicle as she said that she would come to the polling booth to vote. She enthusiastically arrived at the polling station and cast her vote.
Speaking on this occasion, she said that everyone should vote for the good of the country. She added that the youth community voted with great enthusiasm.
