Ramanagara: Mandya MP Sumalath said that the people have allowed the same family for 4 generations. But if the same attitude continues it is really tragedy, she added.
Speaking at the BJP booth level workers meeting in Ramanagara on Tuesday May 2, MP Sumalatha Ambarish lashed out at Deve Gowda’s family politics. She said that the father has become MLA, the son has became MLA and now grand son is attempting to become MLA.
Sumalatha said that since Ambarish’s political career begn from Rmanagara, our family has a good relationship with voters in Ramanagara. BJP respects women. Those who contested against me in Mandya are contesting here. It was a big mistake in their eyes that I competed against a family. She criticised the JD (S) for speaking without respect about a woman.
She said that they spent a total of 150 crores for the election. But the people of Mandya stood by me. The people of Mandya did not lose self-respect despite the bastion and caste. They abused the machinery of administration. You have allowed same family for 4 generations, she said and added that their family says they will contest only in the field where there are no capable leader. She bitterly questioned if their family incapable to rise a strong leader in Ramanagara, Mandya and Hassan since decades.
Whatever the fandom is, only their family can develop, so what should the children of our houses do? Should you not vote for Hassan Development? Let the people of Hassan vote for the development of Hassan. She appealed to the people to elect local leader in Ramanagara.
