Haveri: The Kannada Sahitya Sammelana to be held in City will be organised to give an answer to the anti-Kannada people of Maharashtra. An unprecedented programme will be held to reflect Kannada nadu, language, water and culture, said District In-Charge Minister Shivaram Hebbar.
He was speaking after announcing the various committees at the reception committee meeting of the 86th Akhila Bharatha Kannada Sahitya Sammelana at the Zilla Panchayat Hall here on Sunday November 27, to make the Sahitya Sammelana to be held in Haveri on January 6, 7 and 8 a huge success. Everyone irrespective of party affiliations with the Government and Kannada Sahitya Parishad should work hard, he said.
“Till the conference is over, the officials should not take leave but perform the work assigned to their respective committees. A literary meet and a cultural programme will be organised. Necessary basic amenities like accommodation, food, and transport etc. are arranged by the Government. The Sammelana will be held in coordination without any shortcomings,” he said.
