CM Siddaramaiah May Lose His Chair After Lok Sabha Election, Says Bommai

Gadag: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s chair is shaking as he may lose that chair if the Congress party failed to get more number of seats, said former chief minister and Gadag-Haveri Lok Sabha constituency BJP candidate Basavaraj Bommai.

Reacting to the CM’s statement that the roots of the BJP were shaking because of the guarantees, he told reporters here on Friday that now the bottom of Siddaramaiah was shaking and he himself admitted that his continuation in the post would be difficult if the party failed to win the more number of seats. On the other hand, Deputy Chief minister Shivakumar has been saying that he would become the CM and the vokkaligas would be disappointed if he didn’t become the CM. So, there was no need for him to give reply.

He said the party cells were working hard and taking all the professions into  confidence. It has been decided to meet and seek the support of other communities also.

Commenting on Rahul Gandhi’s statement that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has cancelled the state’s visit to avoid the embarassment from Prajwal Revanna’s episode, Bommai shot back, ” Modi has completed two-day tour that too after Prajwal’s case. This shows the thinking power of Rahul and none can do anything in this regard.

On the Congress MLAs statement that the power supply would be cut off and stop the guarantees, the former CM said the true colours of the Congress party has come out.
