According to officials, a 48-year-old woman was fatally mauled by a leopard on Saturday in the Corbett Tiger Reserve’s Dhela range.
According to Dhiraj Pandey, director of Corbett Tiger Reserve, Kalawati Devi was attacked by the leopard after she ventured into the forest for about a kilometre to trim grass. He said, “Her body has been recovered, and a post-mortem is being done.”
