Ahead of the highly anticipated Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to commence a 10-day journey covering 12 states and union territories starting Monday, March 4. During this extensive tour, he will engage in 29 programs spread across various regions of the country.
According to the official itinerary, Modi’s itinerary includes visits to Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Delhi over the course of the next 10 days. This tour aims to connect with voters and garner support for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Outlined below is the schedule for PM Modi’s 10-day visit:
March 4: Modi will commence his journey in Telangana, where he will unveil multiple development projects in Adilabad and address a public gathering. He will then proceed to Kalpakkam in Tamil Nadu to visit Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited (BHAVINI) and address another public meeting in Chennai before heading to Hyderabad.
March 5: The second day will see Modi attending various programs and inaugurating projects in Sangareddy, Telangana, followed by a public address. Subsequently, he will travel to Odisha to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several development projects in Chandikhole and Jajpur, along with addressing the public.
March 6: Modi’s itinerary includes visits to West Bengal and Bihar, where he will inaugurate significant development projects, including the Kolkata Metro’s Howrah Maidan-Esplanade section, and attend public meetings in Barasat and Bettiah, respectively.
March 7: The Prime Minister will travel to Jammu and Kashmir to address a public rally in Srinagar, marking his first visit to the Kashmir valley since the abrogation of Article 370. He will then participate in a media event in New Delhi.
March 8: Modi will attend the inaugural National Creator’s Award in Delhi before traveling to Assam for various development programs later in the day.
March 9: In Arunachal Pradesh, Modi will inaugurate the Sela Tunnel and attend launch programs in Itanagar. He will then visit Assam to unveil the statue of Lachit Barphukan in Jorhat and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects before heading to West Bengal for further engagements.
March 10: The Prime Minister will visit Uttar Pradesh, attending several programs in Azamgarh, followed by an assessment of preparations at Manduri Airport by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
March 11: In Delhi, Modi will participate in the ‘Namo Drone Didi’ and ‘Lakhpati Didi’ programs, inaugurate the Haryana section of the Dwarka Expressway, and attend a DRDO event in the evening.
March 12: Modi will visit Sabarmati in Gujarat before heading to Rajasthan to tour Pokhran in the Jaisalmer district.
March 13: The final leg of his journey will include laying the foundation stone for three semiconductor projects in Gujarat and Assam via video conferencing, followed by an outreach program for disadvantaged sections of society.
PM Modi’s extensive engagement in unveiling development projects worth significant amounts across the nation underscores his government’s focus on development and welfare ahead of the upcoming general elections scheduled for April-May.
Meanwhile, the BJP has revealed its initial list of 195 candidates for the parliamentary elections, featuring prominent figures such as PM Modi from Varanasi and Amit Shah from Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
