An uninhabited three-story bungalow in Mumbai’s Bandra neighborhood caught fire on Saturday, according to an official statement. At around one and a half in the morning, the fire broke out in the Narang Bungalow on Zig Zag Road in Pali Hill, Bandra (West). Thankfully, there were no reported injuries from the incident. According to the fire official, the fire was a “level one (minor) fire,” and by approximately five in the morning, it had been successfully put out.

The affected areas were limited to “electric wiring, electric installations, furniture and some other household articles in some portions of the three floors.” The official confirmed that the bungalow was unoccupied at the time of the incident. In response to the fire, four fire engines, an equal number of water tankers, an ambulance, and additional support were dispatched to the location to combat the flames.
